My inspiration for this came from a boy i know from x-box live. He got into a skateboarding accident (landed on his head from a 15ft drop) and is seriously injured. He partially lost his memory (he didnt even remember me) and his legs are now paralyzed. He cannot speak either. He actually used to be mean to me but now hes alot nicer. I know he is in alot of pain so I drew this for him. Ive kept him company for many nights drawing, playing my lapharp for him, and telling him stories over the mic to help take his mind away from what he is going through. I described this character for him and he seemed to like it so i decided to draw him a picture to show him what he looks like. I hope you like this David. ^^ This is my character Sake's final design. (yes like the rice wine) His real name is Namakeru Nondakure which means "Lazy Drunk" in Japanese. Since his real name is so difficult to pronounce we can all just call him Sake. ^^ On the left is Sake drinking Sake and on the right is Sake playing the lap harp. (I have one of those i play sometimes) I really tried my very best on this and from now on Ill try not to rush anymore so I can actually do more art like this. Thank you for the inspiration David ^^

A little more about Sake: Sake likes to sit on the side of the path that leads into a town. He plays his lapharp as travelers pass by. He leaves his boot out so people can drop money into it in which he uses to buy more booze.
His mother is fat and lazy while his dad is a drunk. . .the two together created Sake, the lazy drunk The family never had very much money but the three of them have always had a strong family bond. Also Sake's best buddy back in college was Garu.
